The beautiful scenery of St. Lawrence/ Franklin County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The average New York whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it
on an afternoon. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The put-in
