The campgrounds here at Sugar Creek are pretty good. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in New York are often more challenging than in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The wonderful New York scenery     and the cool fresh water have people coming here. Sugar Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Headwaters to Canaseraga Creek stretch is the only one.
