New York whitewater - Trout Brook River, St. Lawrence County

St. Lawrence county, Route 118 to Reagan Road section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

The natural beauty of St. Lawrence County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The put-in is not too far from Ogdensburg-Massena, as you can see on the road map further down. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip.     this is an area with plenty of spots for that. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. Trout Brook River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Route 118 to Reagan Road section is the only one. And of course, there are campgrounds
nearby.
