The wonderful St. Lawrence County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon.     You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Trout Brook River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Route 118 to Reagan Road stretch is the only one. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.
