The South Ripley to Lake Erie stretch is the only paddling stretch along Twentymile Creek. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The scenic beauty of New York and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. Briefly about the general area: Gage Gulf is a nice spot to spend some time at, and Ripley Beach is reasonably nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. Twentymile Creek is a quite wet   place ordinarily with a good deal of rainfall; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Throughout the warm days of summer at Twentymile Creek temperatures are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Twentymile Creek.
