A short spree to Spoonauger Falls is always worthwhile, and Jim Harden Gap is a great site to spend some time. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A tour to Chattooga River wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Kings Creek Falls, and there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Ellicott Rock Trail. Through the warm months highs here at Chattooga River get into the
70's; the night is a bit chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Chattooga River. At this river you will always have a good time. You need to take a look at Ellicott Rock while
you're here at Chattooga River; going for a hike on the Burrells Ford Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Chattooga River sees pretty high levels of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; April is the month with the least moisture.
