There are wonderful spots to discover along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail, and no need to travel far to take a look at exciting stuff like Chattooga Cliffs. A large amount of rainfall falls at Chattooga River; the month of March     is the wettest with most of the rain while April is ordinarily the driest month. The warmest time of the year at Chattooga River arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Chattooga River descend into the 20's.
