The Peeks Creek Road to Peaceful Cove Road stretch of Cullasaja River in North Carolina is 2 miles long and is a class II(III) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in North Carolina tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners.     No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
