There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wonderful North Carolina scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Linville River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Briefly about the general area: During the summer months here at Linville River, high   temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Linville River.
