The North Carolina Route 96 Bridge to Route 1622 stretch of Little Fishing Creek in Granville County is 7 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in North Carolina are often more forgiving than in other states, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. The wonderful North Carolina scenery and the beautiful way the water current     moves down the stream beats anything. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other places for that. There's camping available near Little Fishing Creek.
