And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are some good hotels near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. New Hope Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Turkey Farm Road to Erwin Road stretch is the only one. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.
