This section of Nolichucky River is 8.1 miles long and it is classified as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an

duration of the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Nolichucky River while nighttime lows are commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Nolichucky River all through the wintertime frequently drop into the 20's. Coming to
this river is always a good idea. Take a hike on the Hemlock Forest Trail. Nolichucky River is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. While staying at Nolichucky
River you could always explore Curley Maple Gap, and Nolichucky River is right by the Nolichucky River Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountains. The principal characteristic in the area is the Unaka Mountains, and Cane Bottom is an exciting thing to distinguish while you're here.
