The Route 215/1129 Junction to confluence with East Fork stretch of Pigeon River - West Fork in Haywood County is 6.3 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in North Carolina tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
