  The average North Carolina whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so better not forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. This section of Reedy Fork Creek in Guilford County is 10.1 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Guilford County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are no other sections to paddle along Reedy Fork Creek than the Route 2732 to North Carolina
    Route 61 Bridge section. The put-in is not too far from Greensboro-High Point, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. If you have the time
you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.

The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Reedy Fork Creek. When the night sets in temperatures descend
 
down into the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Reedy Fork Creek dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
Reedy Fork Creek gets much water; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain; April meanwhile is the driest month.
