This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. When you're paddling down a Great Smoky Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Getting a good workout and spending some quality     time in nature have people coming from far and near. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
