The campgrounds here at Scotts Creek are pretty good. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater paddling here in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a great experience. This stretch is short so better bring some good walking shoes. There are no other sections to paddle along Scotts Creek than the Willets-Ochre Hill to Addie section.
