The Pleasant Green Dam to Eno River stretch of Stone's Creek is 0.08 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV+ section of whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Durham, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. And of     course, there are campgrounds nearby. This is the only paddling stretch along Stone's Creek. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. The wonderful Orange County scenery and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This is an extremely short stretch so no need to bring snacks.
