The scenic beauty of Caldwell County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The Globe Road to Upton section is the only paddling section along Thunderhole Creek. This is a short paddling stretch so no need to bring snacks.
