This section of Yadkin River is 35 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in North Carolina tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance     because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The US Route 21 to North Carolina Route 67 section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, so better bring your camping gear along. The beautiful scenery of North Carolina and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile.
