Ohio whitewater, Caesar Creek Warren county, Caesar Creek Lake to Little Miami River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS II+     2.8 miles   Caesar creek was named after Caesar a African man captured and adopted by the Shawnee (The Frontiersman, by Alan Eckert).  The creek was a favorite hunting place for Caesar, and still bears his name to this day. Caesar never tried to escape the Shawnee but did help Boone escape showing Boone the best way back into Kentucky territory. If the water is low forget it go home. Dagger Dave and I once pushed the limit on low water on Caesar and had     to drag that 3 miles. There is a gauge on AW. I live in Knoxville, Tn but have kayaked all over the country. Ohio has some very nice streams along with neighboring states just cause its ''easy'' doesn't mean it's no fun, I have been a raft guide in Tennessee and West by God Virgina, for 12 years this season 2010, I have ran Caesar's 4 times and think it's as pretty and nice as any other out there it is all in you head how much you enjoy, Russell Fork, Caesar's, Gauley, Nolichucky, the whitewater varies, but what you get out of the river and the moment doesn't change a bit... see ya at the Put In Says Tim Richmond Caesar creek is at most class 2.
