There are no other stretches to paddle along Chippewa Creek than the Rt. 82 to Brecksville Reservation stretch. This is a pretty short     section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Rt. 82 to Brecksville Reservation section of Chippewa Creek is 1.65 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V section. Briefly about the general area: The annual rainfall here at Chippewa Creek is about average; throughout June this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. A journey to Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area is recommended, and some great nature is available in Harriet Keeler Memorial Woods. At Chippewa Creek throughout the summer highs   are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Chippewa Creek are in the 10's. Hit the slopes at Boston Mills around here.
