There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Ohio tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so better not forget that     many of the sections here are safe for beginners. There's camping available near Cuyahoga River. The beautiful scenery of Summit County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. Briefly about the general area: From a rainfall point of view Cuyahoga River is a rather common place; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Cuyahoga River frequently tend to be in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime   brings highs down to the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cuyahoga River temperatures dip to the 10's. Gotta ski! Boston Mills is a great location to do that.
