The nature scenery of Summit / Cuyahoga County and the water flowing gracefully down Cuyahoga River attract people from near and far. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Akron, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Ohio are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections     here are safe for beginners. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The Route 303 to Boston Mills Road stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's, and overnight lows in the   10's for Cuyahoga River.
