Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Ohio is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. This is the only paddling section along Grand River. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The wonderful Ohio scenery and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch of     Grand River is 8 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The campgrounds here at Grand River are pretty good. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. Briefly about the general area: From a precipitation point of view Grand River is a pretty typical location; during the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Grand River reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's.
