Ledges include a 10-12 footer (two of them) 4-5 foot and some nice smaller drops, it is a short run with a lot of action... This stretch of Hall's Creek in Ohio is 1.25 miles long and it is classified as a class III+(IV) section by American Whitewater. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The beautiful scenery     of Warren County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. This is an extremely short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Ohio you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here. Briefly about the general area:   From a precipitation point of view Hall's Creek is a relatively common place; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Summertime highs at Hall's Creek frequently tend to be in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hall's Creek temperatures plunge to the 10's.
