There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Fredricktown to Ohio River stretch of Little Beaver Creek in Ohio is 8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. The campgrounds here at Little Beaver Creek are pretty good. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Little Beaver Creek mostly tend to be in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the   10's overnight here at Little Beaver Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Beaver Creek; Fishermans Trail is a fine local trail, and close by you discover tremendous places like Purgatory Hollow. The yearly precipitation here at Little Beaver Creek is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture.
