Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Ohio is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable     for beginners. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other spots. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Olentangy River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Delaware Recycling Plant to Chapman Road pull-off stretch is the only one. The natural beauty of Ohio and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip.
