  The Fishback Road to St. Route 28 stretch of Rattlesnake Creek in Ohio is 3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II(IV) section of whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Ohio are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. The campgrounds here at Rattlesnake Creek are pretty good. Rattlesnake Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Fishback Road to St. Route 28 section is the only one. The starting location is a reasonable drive
    from Washington, as you can see on the road map further down. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling rivers. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting a good workout and just
hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. The wonderful Highland County scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
