The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Tiffin-Fostoria, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Milldam     in Tiffin to CR 38 stretch is one of them. This stretch of Sandusky River in Ohio is 3.5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a bit of a short stretch so no need to bring snacks. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling places.
