The St Route 125 to Straight Creek Road section of Straight Creek is 6 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Ohio and the water flowing gracefully down Straight Creek have people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Ohio is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. You might have to settle for a     hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Straight Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the St Route 125 to Straight Creek Road section is the only one. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon.
