If you're coming from Sandusky it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. There's camping available near Vermilion River. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Below Mill Hollow section is one of them. A bit of exercise and a chance     to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The wonderful Ohio scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good rivers for that around here.
