This stretch of Vermilion River in Ohio is 5.5 miles long and has been rated as a class I section by American Whitewater. No shortage of good hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is a pretty decent length section, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. This river     system has a few good paddling sections and the Below Mill Hollow section is one of them. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Sandusky, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy.
