The White Oak Valley Road to Georgetown Dam stretch of White Oak Creek in Ohio is 7.5 miles long and it is classified as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Brown County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state     tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so don't forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. White Oak Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the White Oak Valley Road to Georgetown Dam section is the only one.
