The starting location is a reasonable drive from Wilmington, as you can see on the road map further down. There are no other sections to paddle along White Oak Creek than the White Oak Valley Road to Georgetown Dam section. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Ohio is often easier than elsewhere,     so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more.
