Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oklahoma tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are
lots of good rivers for that around here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Ouachita Mountains scenery is wonderful. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
