The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Oklahoma are often more forgiving than in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Blue     River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Highway 7 to Cheadle Falls Close to Wapanucka section is the only one. The natural beauty of Johnston County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
