at Echota stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The beauty of the Ozarks is a great plus for this river. This is a very short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The average Oklahoma whitewater rafting or
kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
