Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oklahoma are easier than the national norm, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The wonderful Comanche County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater paddling here in the Wichita Mountains is a great experience. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you     glad you came. Jimmy Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Close to Meers Cafe to Lake Lawtonka stretch is the only one. There's camping available near Jimmy Creek. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes.
