This is the only paddling section along
Kiamichi River. This stretch of Kiamichi River in Oklahoma is 7 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The natural beauty of Oklahoma and the water flowing gracefully down Kiamichi River have people coming here.

The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and nighttime lows at Kiamichi River all through the winter generally fall into the 20's.
