destination. This is an extremely short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oklahoma are easier than the national
norm, so keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Ouachita Mountains. The Rockpile Mountain is a major trait of the neighborhood around Outlaw Creek. Through the warm months, highs typically are in the 90's at Outlaw Creek, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through
the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Outlaw Creek descend into the 30's.
