The scenic beauty of Oklahoma and the water flowing gracefully down Rocky Creek are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The average Oklahoma whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy.
