Low Water Bridge by Peggs section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS II 0 miles
The Low Water Bridge by Peggs stretch of Spring Creek is 0 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master in this state than those in other states, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. The wonderful Oklahoma scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Spring Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to
come. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're
all set. This section is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The Low Water Bridge by Peggs section is the only paddling section along Spring Creek. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. The put-in location is a short drive from Tahlequah, as you can see on the road map further down. The beauty of the Ozarks is a great plus for this river.
Briefly about the general area: High temperatures at Spring Creek through the summertime months are in the 90's, and during the night it

Spring will fill your soul with tremendous feelings; a pleasant location to pop by is Dry Hollow. Spring Creek commonly gets much rainfall; June is when you get the most rain here, and January is when it's the driest.
