The North Fork Bridge to Mill Creek Park section of Alsea River - North Fork is 5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Benton County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a
bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the North Fork Bridge to Mill Creek Park stretch is just one of them. This stretch is mid length,
good for a one day paddling trip. The beautiful Coast Ranges scenery is an added bonus. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come.
