Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Oregon and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Ranges and you get great scenery. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come.
