The river winds through the Coast Ranges and you get great scenery. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. On this section you do get some distance, suitable for an afternoon trip.
