The scenic beauty of Oregon and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The Quentin Creek to Blue River Reservoir stretch of Blue River in Linn/ Lane County is 4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV-V section.     No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The campgrounds here at Blue River are pretty good. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The wild scenery of the Central Cascade Range is great. There are no other sections to paddle along Blue River than the Quentin Creek to Blue River Reservoir section. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Briefly about the general area: Blue River gets a lot of water; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is July. At Blue River during the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, generally in the 40's.
