This stretch of Brice Creek in Oregon is 4.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. The natural beauty of Lane County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Parker Falls to Champion Creek section is one of them. This stretch     is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Cascade Range is a great experience. There's camping available near Brice Creek. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. Briefly about the general area: All the water falling down from the sky makes Brice Creek a wet place; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is July. Take a hike on the Mayflower Trail, and a short trip to Smith Falls is always worthwhile.   Through the summer here at Brice Creek, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Brice Creek. This river is so wonderful. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too splendid to be true. Hiking along the Steamboat Trail is splendid fun, and Hotel Spring is a stunning spot to take a look at while you're at Brice Creek.
