This stretch of Brice Creek in Oregon is 5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The beautiful Central Cascade Range scenery is an added bonus. The nature scenery of Oregon and the beautiful way the water current moves
down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Champion Creek to Cedar Creek Campground section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number
of good spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip.

time of the year here at Brice Creek, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's while Brice Creek night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's. Near Brice Creek you find the Steamboat Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail.
