If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that many runs in this state are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Lane County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The     nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the Champion Creek to Cedar Creek Campground stretch is one of them. When you're paddling down a Central Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots.
