Bull Run Road to Sandy River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III 2.5 miles
The nature scenery of Oregon and the water flowing gracefully down Bull Run are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch of Bull Run is 2.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. No need to look hard for hotels, but if you don’t
have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are no other stretches to paddle along Bull Run than the Bull Run Road to Sandy River stretch. The wild scenery of the
Central Cascade Range is great. This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes.
