Oregon whitewater - Bull Run, Central Cascade Range, Clackamas County
Clackamas
county,
Bull Run Road to Sandy River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.
CLASS III 2.5 miles
The scenic beauty of Clackamas County and the water flowing gracefully down Bull Run beats anything. This stretch of Bull Run is 2.5 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Oregon tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. The beautiful Central Cascade Range scenery
is an added bonus. This is the only paddling stretch along Bull Run. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are nice comfortable
hotels here, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
