The to Confluence with Willamette section of Christy Creek in Oregon is 9 miles long and is a class III-V(V+) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Oregon is often tougher than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are campgrounds     quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. The beauty of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. This is the only paddling stretch along Christy Creek. Briefly about the general area: Christy Creek is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is usually the driest month. Don't leave Christy Creek without first paying a visit to Salt Springs, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Christy Creek; Roosevelt Way is a great local trail. Summertime   highs at Christy Creek generally tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows during the winter for Christy Creek tend to be in the 30's.
