The South Fork Clackamas Falls stretch of Clackamas River - South Fork in Oregon is 0 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem
    but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the South Fork Clackamas Falls section is just one of them. The beauty of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. There are campgrounds
quite near the river where you can camp. The beautiful scenery of Clackamas County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. This is an extremely short section so better bring some good walking shoes.
