The South Fork Clackamas Falls stretch of Clackamas River - South Fork is 0 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class V+ section. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Oregon you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This section is very short so no need to bring snacks. Since you're
on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The campgrounds here at Clackamas River - South Fork are pretty good. The South Fork Clackamas Falls stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. The beautiful scenery of Clackamas County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. The beauty of the Central Cascade Range is a great plus for this river.
