The nature scenery of Oregon and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The put-in is not too far from Brookings, as you can see on the road map further down. The average Oregon whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less forgiving. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. This stretch is mid length, good for
a one day paddling trip. The South Fork Bridge to Myrtle Grove section of Coquille River - South Fork in Oregon is 7.7 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-IV section. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations
