If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The wonderful Coos County scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. The beauty of the Coast Ranges is a great plus for this river.
This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Myrtle Grove Camp Ground
