CLASS I-II 5 miles
This section of Fall Creek in Lane County is 5 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Oregon and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The average Oregon whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends
to be harder to run than those in other states, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. The Fall Creek Dam to Willamette River stretch is one of a few paddling
stretches in this river system. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. When you're paddling down a Central Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This stretch is mid length, good for a one day paddling trip. If you're coming from Eugene-Springfield it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page.
